Strengthening instructional excellence through research-based teaching practices.

A comprehensive professional development session on Explicit Instruction and Barak Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction was successfully conducted by Head of Junior School Madam Zile Huma for KGs to Grade 4 teachers.
The training emphasized strategic, step-by-step classroom instruction focused on reviewing prior learning, presenting new concepts in small steps, guided practice, effective questioning, modelling, checking for understanding, and ensuring active student participation.
The session aimed to align classroom practices with high-impact teaching strategies that promote clarity, confidence, engagement, and meaningful learning experiences for every student.

As part of our co-curricular activities, Grade 4 students engaged in a special card-making session to honor Mother’s Day. This hands-on activity encourages fine motor skills and creative writing, but most importantly, it teaches our students the value of appreciation and thoughtfulness. We are proud of the beautiful sentiments they’ve shared through their handmade wishes.

Tiny voices, big love 💕
Today our little ones of KG I Afternoon students shared the sweetest reasons why they love their moms — from “because she hugs me” to “because she makes yummy food” 🥹🌸
This Mother’s Day activity was full of pure love, giggles, and heartfelt little words straight from tiny hearts. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mommies 💐✨

Our Afternoon School Grade 1 classrooms were filled with a different kind of focus today as students meticulously designed their Mother’s Day wish cards. Watching them choose the perfect colors and carefully craft their messages reminds us that the best gifts aren't bought—they are created with heart. Each card is a tiny masterpiece dedicated to the women who inspire them every day.
