First day of Indoor Bowls done ✔️

All our bowlers played incredibly well and had some very tight games throughout the day. There were some great bowls played!

Tim and Molly have both qualified for the sectional playoffs on Wednesday, while others came agonisingly close with 2 wins and 2 losses.

Our Tapping back fundraiser is postponed until Wednesday 9th September @ 3.30pm - 5pm'ish. We still need lots of whānau support so please consider coming along with your gumboots and helping us raise funds for our EOTC events.

The AIMS Games team arrived safely in Tauranga this afternoon, settled into their home for the week then attended the high-energy, highly enjoyable opening ceremony and finished the day with a stroll on the beach.

First day of bowling starts early tomorrow. Good luck team.

Last weekend saw another winter sports code wind up with the Woodville AFC prizegiving.

It’s great to see so many Woodville School tamariki commit to a season of football, from our juniors through to our senior students. They all performed well and continued to grow throughout the season.

Congratulations to Mayson McArthur, who was awarded Most Improved Player for his 7-aside team 🏆

And a huge congratulations to Blake Field and Tim Bolton, who were both nominated for the Kevin Hanks Memorial Sportsmanship Trophy — awarded to a 7 or 9-aside player. A special congratulations to Tim, who was the overall winner! ⚽️

Our students are super excited to showcase their talents to friends and whānau on Thursday, 17 September in the Woodville Stadium at 5.30pm. Doors open at 5.15pm.

All of our students will be involved in a variety ways - there will be class items, special guest performances and a Student Talent Quest.

The students want to showcase what they have been learning this term along with some talented ākonga keen to showcase their individual talents.

We look forward to seeing as many friends and whānau there as possible.

It was a bright and busy Celebration Hui on Friday!

Congratulations to the award winners, along with our two Players of the Day from the Bush Volleyball Tournament, where we proudly fielded two teams.

Both teams performed incredibly well, with Woodville Tahi only losing two games throughout the whole day — both to the same team! Thank you to Miss Am and Whaea Tanya for taking these teams.

It definitely looked and felt like spring at school yesterday with our annual Daffodil Day/Mufti Day fundraiser, supporting Cancer Society - Manawatū

How good to see so many ākonga and staff embracing the day and helping us raise a fantastic $170 for such a worthy cause 🌼

Last night, Woodville School was proudly represented by Jamee Tan and Arcayla Raroa-Baker at the Woodville Lions Club NZ Speech Competition.

Both girls delivered their speeches with confidence and fantastic articulation, earning them the win in their respective sections! 🏆

Tino pai, girls! We are so proud of you! 👏

This Friday is Daffodil Day, so we’re having a m***i day to raise money for the Cancer Society and all the amazing work they do supporting cancer patients and their families across Aotearoa.
