Yesterday was Collage Day! ✂️📚 And the students had a ball! Mrs Turner even heard a student say "I thought this was going to be dumb, but now I don't want to leave!" ❤️

Well done Mrs Turner, for inspiring creativity in our students! And to the students for trying something new! Can't wait to see what's up next week!

Day 4 update at UNISS Tournament week. Our netball girls have had 4 wins & 3 losses & sitting in top 8 of their grade.

🌟Student In The Spotlight - Neela Sacault🌟

Thank you to Mercury Bay Athletics Club for allowing us to share this amazing story about Neela. And congratulations Neela! It is so amazing to see our students shining beyond our school gates.

🎖️A week ago our rising star Neela and her coach Lindsay got a fantastic opportunity... hear about it below:

'Wow, what a great day Neela and I had with Athletics NZ lead sprints and hurdles coach, James Mortimer at AUT MILLENNIUM in Auckland. We had a one on one, hour and a half coaching session with James for Neela to instill and gain some valuable finer points in her training and for me to hone my coaching skills. James was more than reassuring that Neela is on track to not just compete but to do well at the NZ Secondary Schools track and field champs at Cooks Garden in Wanganui in early December. We both got so much more from this coaching session, more than we imagined. James also acknowledged how far Neela has come with only one season of competition and coaching behind her.'

Congratulations to 🌺MERCURY🌺 who are currently in the lead by a slim 32 points.

It doesn't take much to shift the points at this time of the year, so keep an eye out as things change over the coming 13 weeks in the lead up to the end of the year.

Tuesday 1st Sept - Trident Tournament Results:
⚽Lost to Kingsway College 1-0.
⚽Beat Bethlehem College 3-2 on penalties after 1-1 at full time. ⚽Playing Papamoa College today!
