Marae Matihiko Marae Matihiko is a digital literacy programme designed for Marae and their trustees. And even better, it's FREE to register! No reira, nau mai, haere mai!

MM is a two-day digital literacy programme that was designed specifically for Marae and their trustees. The MM programme was developed off the back of delivering a successful Marae digital literacy campaign in 2021. MM was developed specifically for an audience that has little to no digital literacy skills. MM was created to support the Marae connectivity rollout (https://www.tpk.govt.nz/en/whakam

Kia ora koutou!

We are in the process of planning for a series of virtual workshops for delivery this year. We'll send everyone an email invite to these workshops, but to give us an idea of demand please comment below if you are keen.

We'll deliver the same digital literacy workshops as for our in-person 3-day wananga, but these virtual workshops will be delivered on a monthly basis via Zoom (dates and times TBC). Each workshop will be 3.5 hours in duration.

The purpose of this survey is to collect your important feedback on a subject that affects us all, and that is AFFORDABLE INTERNET.

We are currently doing some research into an AFFORDABLE INTERNET SERVICE PRODUCT that we hope will benefit our communities and Marae. Therefore your responses and feedback here will help us to better understand what is needed by our Marae, whānau and communities in terms of internet access and what an affordable internet service should look like.

Marae Matihiko Wānanga 3: Ruapeka Marae POSTPONED UNTIL LATER IN THE YEAR!!

Unfortunately due to low number of registrations to our Wānanga this weekend (Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 August), I have decided to postpone it until later in the year.

Once we have decided on another date, we will let everyone know.
