Our Ngātiwai sports students had the incredible opportunity to meet professional boxer Lani Jack Daniels, also known as "The Smiling Assassin." Lani delivered an engaging presentation to our students and whānau, sharing her journey to becoming a world champion and offering valuable insights into what it takes to succeed in professional boxing. It was an inspiring experience for everyone!

Yesterday, our Ngātiwai Sports students had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Te Kārearea Hui in Whāngaruru. They got to see local youth present and even met the mayor. What a great day!

Taught by distinguished master weavers Emily Schuster, Erenora Puketapu-Hetet, and Aromea Tahiwi, it’s no wonder that ‘A Sonia Snowden Kete’ is uttered like a luxury brand name.

Sonia is a highly accomplished and respected tohunga who has shared her knowledge of te whare pora to many generations of weavers, and was appointed to The Distinguished Weavers of Te Kāhui Whiritoi in 2018.
