That’s why we created Talk With Children - a Northland-wide movement encouraging adults and tamariki to connect through everyday conversation, play and shared moments.

The idea is simple: when we talk more with children, their language, confidence and connection with others grows.

Imaginative play allows children to safely explore roles, process emotions, and build critical social-emotional and language skills. Hospital play is always a popular activity at Parihaka Kindergarten.
