For Easter, we have made our own nests out of leaves, twigs and herbs. We are waiting to see what the Easter Bunny has for us….

Lately we have been showing great interest with books and story-telling. We like reading stories during hui or take them wherever we want. We love books and love learning!

Cornflour is a versatile, budget-friendly, messy but easy to clean resource that we love exploring at The Nest. We had so many experiments involving textures, colours and mixtures using cornflour and different temperatures of water. We’ve been under the sea, in the mud and everywhere with cornflour! What a wonderful sensory experience while learning and creatively expressing ourselves.

What an amazing and wonderful way to welcome December and the Christmas Season. Great turn out, lots of yummy kai, friendships and fellowship, and surprise from Santa. Thank you whānau for a beautiful and memorable year-end get together!

We have been very busy helping each other decorate our whole space to make it festive before our year-end get together. How amazing to see our tamariki taking the lead and being active with planning and preparations. We sure hope this party is going to be fun and memorable for everyone.
