Our tamariki showed their support for Daffodil Day by dressing up in yellow and creating beautiful daffodil artworks throughout the week. 💛

Thank you, whānau, for helping your tamariki dress in yellow and for donating coins to support Daffodil Day. Through these experiences, our tamariki are learning the importance of caring for others, showing kindness and supporting people in need.

🌿✨ Our pēpi had so much fun exploring nature through their senses!

They smelled fresh lemon leaves, went on a dinosaur adventure in the bark jungle, squished fluffy chickpea foam in the sensory tray, floated boats in the water and enjoyed finger and toe painting with cornflour. 🦕🍋🖐️🦶

Through these hands on experiences, our pēpi explored different textures, scents and natural resources while learning, creating and having lots of fun! 💛🌱

Book Character Dress Up Day 📚

“Who are you today?”
“I’m a sleeping princess!” 👸🏼💤

“What do you want to be in the future?”
“I want to be a pilot and fly an aeroplane!” ✈️

Our tamariki enjoyed a wonderful day filled with imagination, conversations and role play. We explored different characters through books, shared stories together, enjoyed a picnic on the deck, and had lots of fun with face painting! 🎨📖🧺

What a beautiful way to celebrate our love for books, creativity and dreaming big! 🌟

🎨📚 Our tamariki have been busy creating colourful masterpieces with cotton buds, strengthening their fine motor skills along the way.

We also enjoyed quiet moments with books in the whare, sharing stories and connecting with friends and teachers. 💛 These moments nurture a love of literacy, friendships and a strong sense of belonging. 🌿

🦷💛 A big thank you to the dentists from Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Oral Health Services for visiting our centre and providing visual oral health checks for our 2 to 3 year old tamariki!

Our tamariki did an amazing job waiting patiently and following the dentist’s instructions. We are so proud of them! 🌟

It was a wonderful opportunity to build positive experiences around dental care and encourage good habits around brushing teeth and healthy eating. 🪥🥦✨

Our Pepi explored different textures through gloop and sand sensory play, using their hands to squish, scoop, pour, and discover. These hands-on experiences support sensory development, build fine motor skills, encourage curiosity, and spark joyful learning through play. 💛

Imagination can take us anywhere! 🌟🐄

This week, our tamariki “visited” the farm and milked the cows through imaginative play! 🥛🐮

With a little creativity, everyday materials became a real farm adventure. Along the way, our tamariki explored role play, built their language and social skills, strengthened their fine motor skills, and learned about where milk comes from—all while having lots of fun together! 💚✨
