Our tamariki have been busy getting creative this week, exploring lots of different art experiences, experimenting with colours, textures and ways to create. πŸ–ŒοΈπŸ–οΈπŸŽ¨

And, of course, we couldn’t resist some potion play! πŸ§ͺ✨ Mixing, pouring, stirring and imagining as our little scientists created their own magical concoctions.

Teamwork is where it’s at here at Kamo Kids!

After some hard mahi pulling out the old punga stumps and tidying up the space, our tamariki and kaiako worked together to carry the stumps up to the bin, ready for the rubbish truck to take them to the dump. What a team effort! πŸ‘

It was fantastic to see everyone working collaboratively, helping each other and taking pride in creating a beautiful outdoor space for us all to enjoy. πŸ’š

Today we celebrated a very special milestone for our beautiful Emmy as she graduates from Kamo Childcare and gets ready to take those exciting first steps into her school journey. πŸ’•πŸ“š

Emmy, it has been such a joy having you as part of our Kamo Kids whānau. We have watched you grow, discover, create, make friendships and become such a wonderful little person. Your personality, laughter and the special spark you bring with you each day have made you such a treasured part of our centre. πŸ₯°

As you head off to school, there will be so many new things to discover, new friends to meet and adventures waiting around every corner. We hope you continue to be curious, brave and confident in giving new things a go. 🌈✨
