Another good burger day turnout in spite of the far from perfect weather. Taylor Greasley's name was pulled out of the hat for the members draw but sadly absent, so it jackpots to next week.

It's another great day for students to be doing exams! We are ready and waiting for the rush.

Unfortunately, due to the weather we are postponing the spot Landing Competition this morning. Details of another date will follow shortly.
Burgers will still be served up as usual.

Mark Sunday morning the 16th August in your diaries. Spot Landing Competition. Briefing at 10.30 sharp. All welcome. Bring your own plane or use one of the clubs. Club planes will be charged at a flat rate of $50 per competitor. That includes startup, taxi, two touch and goes and a full stop. Instructors included so this is open to all skill levels. Normal burgers and cakes afterwards.

You can visit the hangar, talk to the instructors, have a look round the aircraft and if you have $100 spare, book a trial flight with us. A great day on Sunday. Dave and Judy did a great job delivering 38 burgers, Sheryl's cakes went down a treat as usual, and Leo Johns struck the members draw.

Great weather for flying and quite a few took advantage with nearly seven hours logged. We were eaten out of house and home. 45 burgers and cakes flew out the door. Member draw was Manpreet Singh but he wasn't here so it jackpots to $179 next week.

Another busy Sunday with trial flights and our first Spot Landing competition of the year.

Landing league table as follows:

We'll be running more throughout the year-next date to be announced.

35 burgers sold and Kim Hoon won the raffle but was not there so it rolls over to next week.
