Exciting news for our whanau and community 😊

As many of our wonderful tamariki prepare to head off to school later this year, along with a few friends transitioning to kindy, we now have some spaces becoming available at the centre 🌿

These opportunities don’t come up very often, so if you’ve been thinking about enrolling your child, or know of any friends or whanau looking for childcare spaces, now is a great time to get in touch.

🏁 What an exciting day at our centre! 🏁

A huge thank you to Dying Breed Garage (Payton’s Dad, Mike) for bringing in an incredible race car for our tamariki to explore! The children loved getting up close to the car, sitting inside it, trying on the helmet, and hearing the powerful rumble of the engine. 🚗💨

This was such a special hands-on experience and a fantastic extension of our current interest in cars and vehicles. Opportunities like this help bring children’s learning and curiosity to life in such meaningful and memorable ways.

Thank you again for sharing your time and passion with us — our tamariki absolutely loved it! ❤️

💖 What a fantastic Pink Shirt Day celebration we had at our Seeds and Sprouts Childcare today! 💖

It was wonderful to see so many children and whānau getting involved, with lots of pink, creative dress-ups, and smiling faces throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day such a success!

Pink Shirt Day is all about promoting kindness, inclusion, and standing together against bullying — values we love to encourage every day at our centre. 💕

We’ll be acknowledging the importance of standing up against bullying and creating a safe, supportive environment where every child feels valued and respected.

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

Today we celebrate all the incredible women who nurture, guide, comfort, encourage, and love our tamariki every day. 💖

To all mums, grandmothers, aunties, stepmums, foster mums, caregivers, whānau members, and the special women who play a motherly role in a child’s life — thank you for the warmth, patience, and care you give so generously.

Your love helps children grow with confidence, kindness, and joy, and we are so grateful to be part of that journey alongside you. 🌼

Last week we were privileged to have the St John’s Ambulance Service come into Seeds and Sprouts and let the tamariki explore the Truck.

We were able to try on some protective gear, look through the truck, be a patient on the bed and of course sit in the drivers seat and push the siren button.

Our tamariki walked away beaming with excitement, we ended up sitting on the step waving Callum off as he drove the truck back to its ‘home’.

A big shout out to Callum for organising the Ambulance truck to come into Seeds and to Justene and Callum for giving up their time 😊
