PermaDynamics is our family-run research farm and education centre for regenerative living practises. We are continually evolving and working together to innovate and co-create a diversity of ecosystems for food, community and climate resilience.
Caring for the land:
We have over 30 years of international experience in orchestrating succession to bring land to its full potential of natural abund
ance and diversity. Simultaneously building fertile soil, creating wild life habitats, increasing water infiltration and growing a diversity of food crops. With over 250 plant species, our food forest creates a sanctuary and breeding zones for our native birds, Tui, Kūkūpa, Pāteke, Korimako, Pīwakawaka, Ruru, and Kiwi. Education:
We continue to share, exchange and inspire our students and ourselves how to observe nature, design with intelligence and interact with dynamic awareness. Our vast experience offers inspiration to all who wish to become more community-sufficient through regenerative agriculture. Food Resilience:
Rippling out from our practice of permaculture living is our strive for implementing a perennial diet ethos. Our food forest, mushroom grove and market garden provide our family and community with nutrient-dense, organic food. We are continually experimenting, expanding and incorporating more regenerative, perennial forms of food production to incorporate a diversity of foods that regenerate and build healthy soil. Climate mitigation:
We constantly strive towards being carbon negative by adapting our tools, machinery and transport to electrics. Supplying to local customers and applying carbon sequestration practises with biochar, humus production and use of renewable energy. For more information visit our website:
