Parua Bay Childcare Early childhood education and care for babies through to 6 year olds. We are a purpose built centre in the heart of Parua Bay.

We are licenced for 60 children over two rooms, our Fantail room caters to babies through to 3 year olds and our Pukeko room 2.5 year olds through until they head off to school.

We have a few spaces coming up in February if anyone has a new enrolment or would like to pick up any more days. We have space in the Pukeko room every day and in the Fantail room we have a space for an over two Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and space for under or over two on the Wednesday and Friday. Space usually fills up pretty quickly so if you know you will be needing something early next year it would be a good idea to get in touch ASAP.

Last week some of our tamariki from the Fantail room went for a hikoi to take our local cafe a special delivery of home grown herbs and vege’s. Making / strengthening connections with our local community in meaningful ways is important to us. Nga tamariki were so proud of their gift and handed each bunch of produce over to the lovely Mel at Smith & Local absolutely beaming! Next we stopped at the GAS station to buy new seedlings so we can do it all again. What awesome kaitiaki we are raising!

We were so lucky to have a visit from the Whangarei Heads Volunteer Firebrigade today! Our tamariki have been very interested in the "Nee Naw" book and one of our Firefighter Dads organised a fun and educational visit for us!
