Attendance & Punctuality Update

As you may be aware, there continues to be a major focus from the Ministry of Education on student attendance and arriving at school on time.

We are noticing that more and more children are arriving after the morning bell has gone.

Our School Times:
School Starts: 8:55am
School Finishes: 2:50pm

Reporting an Absence:

Please remember to inform the school whenever your child is absent. You can reach us via Facebook Messenger, the Skool Loop app, or by calling the office and leaving a message. Txt/phone us on 021 107 6551.

Absence Follow-up:

Unnotified absences are marked as truant. If a child reaches 5 truant days in a term, we are required to address it early. Our main goal is to work together with whānau so we can support you and ensure your child feels happy and confident coming to school every day

Thank you for partnering with us to build great routines and set our tamariki up for success!

We love learning and using Te Reo Māori in our everyday routines at school! We are sharing our current focus so that—if you’d like to—you can use it with your tamariki at home.
