The people who do best with AI aren’t the technical ones.

They’re the ones who show up curious.

Not the ones who know the most tools.

The ones willing to ask the next question.

The Presence Principle 🌿
“Show up fully. Let the rest find you.”

Every time you feel the urge to force something, chase something, or worry about something not moving fast enough

Pause.

Because the evidence is undeniable.

The opportunities that changed everything didn’t come from pushing harder.

They came from showing up fully and doing what it happens naturally.

Don’t build your business by pushing.

Build it by being exactly, unapologetically yourself in every room you walk into.

Then keep doing that. 🌿

Dictation in Claude is so much better than ChatGPT.

Having had to use a splint for my arm, writing has been painful and it is amazing how challenging the basic things are.

I watched a video on Journalling by Liane Davey (https://lnkd.in/grv2v_ny) for managing weekly activities and it is similar to a system I have in a notebook which worked well for the way I work. The video got me inspired to create a page to manage todays tasks.
When I tried using a pen my hand ached and I could barely write, so I thought there has to be a better way.

In the past I have tried to use ChatGPT's microphone feature to dictate my prompts, however more often than not I say what I want to say, turn off the mic and it disappears and throws an error - I have tried multiple devices so it isnt a device issue, it seems to be a ChatGPT issue. (I can use full chat mode no problem in chatgpt) but that wasnt what I wanted today.

So I decided to give Claude a try - WOW! Not only did Claude work seamlessly, it went above and beyond and I discovered new features I hadn't tried before. Mind blown to say the least. I love claude and it is quickly becoming my goto. What a fun morning working.

But here's the real breakthrough - I didn't just dictate text, I had an entire conversation about my scattered thoughts and Claude turned them into an organized action plan with reminders. All my overwhelming tasks became structured and actionable without me writing a single thing!

This could be life-changing for anyone dealing with hand pain, arthritis, ADHD brain, dyslexia, or honestly just being too busy to organize thoughts the "normal" way.

When the tools deliver it can be game changing. Definitely loving my Claude subscription today, but this feature is available in their free version - so if you are struggling with typing or just want a quicker way of doing things give it a try.

I've put together a simple guide on exactly how to set this up and use it effectively. If this breakthrough could help you or someone you know, DM me your email address and I'll send you the setup guide.

This article is exactly why I think the creative industry is safe in a world of human first AI. We build our careers over many years gain in insights along the way, this forms our knowledge skills and experience, it makes each of us uniquely us and stands us apart from the next person - they don’t have the unique combination of background skills and experience that you have. It also keeps us ahead of the game with AI - who only has a snapshot of a given period of time and isn’t 5 steps ahead of that snapshot at all times.

Now more than ever our “uniqueness” is what sets us apart. Celebrate that because in a world of AI sameness our voice and our uniqueness will help define how we show up in the world and produce money to support ourselves.

Alarm bells are going off around the world “AI stole my work”, sorry to break it to you but people stole your work long before AI ever did.

“AI took my job”, sorry AI created different jobs, as a species we have had had to learn to adapt to survive over thousands of years.

We need to stand out in a world of AI Sameness, and everyone that does will be able to find the roles that bring both great pay and great reward on so many levels.

The world may try to use AI to ‘do what you do’, just as other people have, but the magic happens when we use AI to show up in the world as better versions of ourselves, uniquely US. This is now starting to happen.

Placing human experience first (statistical models cannot do that), using incredible tools to support what we do and creating uniquely us content is a valuable skill, it is becoming a necessary skill.

If you are worried about AI and it’s impact on you and your work, don’t be, DM me and I can help you navigate this space and find your uniqueness, your voice and your difference so you can stand out in a world of AI sameness and copycats.

Businesses that rush to use AI to write content or computer code, often have to pay humans to fix it.

Whanganui has recently been represented on the global stage in Paris.

This week representing AI BizHub, I had the incredible honour of being selected to present to the global panel for Human-Centred AI and the Future of Culture at the UNESCO Creative Cities Network Annual Conference in Paris—sharing how Whanganui is pioneering a new approach to AI that puts people first.

"The conference hosted more than 400 Delegates from over 200 cities" https://lnkd.in/g-Y4JYP9

The response to our video presentation was fantastic: "Amazing presentation from Whanganui!" — Geelong City of Design

From our home base in Whanganui, we demonstrated to the world that the AI wave is coming, but we can choose how we ride it.

For creatives especially, this moment isn't about replacement—it's about repositioning.

The old way of working has shifted. But creatives bring decades of experience, expertise, and strategic insight to the table—things AI can't replicate.

Instead of being replaced, creatives now have an opportunity to lead—by showcasing their unique mahi, standing out in a world of AI sameness, and stepping into roles as creative directors, strategists, and trusted guides.

This is exactly why we've built three initiatives in Whanganui:

AI BizHub – helping individuals and businesses grow to create sustainable income with AI

WriteFund Collective – empowering community projects to tell their stories

Lisa's AI Café – making AI education accessible to everyone

The magic happens when curiosity meets community over coffee—ensuring no one gets left behind.

📅Next week (July 2nd), I'm presenting to the Whanganui Tech Network about our UNESCO Creative Cities Network Annual Conference experience and what this global recognition means for our local community. Because sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to spark something extraordinary.

To regional leaders, councils, and organisations: The world is watching how we respond to AI. Will we empower our communities to thrive with it?

Interested in hosting Lisa's AI Café sessions and/or Workshops for July-September? Let's ensure your community chooses how it rides this wave.
