Many thanks to the Gonville Library for hosting WLCT at their Tea and Topic session. In the last 12 months, WLCT has supported hundreds of Whanganui people across all ages through free learning and support. We provide whānau support for ākonga struggling to engage with their schooling, helping young people return to education, gain qualifications, and transition to employment. We've also supported adults gaining Learner Licences, building digital confidence, improving literacy/numeracy, and developing CVs for employment. We've helped whānau navigate education rights, access housing services, and manage health and wellbeing. You'll get a chance to explore AI, even if you know nothing about tech. It's pretty casual and it's hands-on fun!
