We warmly invite all our parents and whānau to come along to school on Tuesday 1st September from 2pm to see what your tamariki have been working on this term.

Join in any time between 2.00 - 3.00. It is an opportunity to pop into the classrooms, connect with our kaiako, and see the learning in action.
Come along, join the fun, and share the afternoon with us.

Carlton Fun Run & Cross Country

THURSDAY 27 AUGUST 1:45pm - 2:45pm Venue - Gonville Domain

An opportunity to run around Gonville Domain, get a little muddy, and have FUN.
All classes are participating.

There will be three runs - two Cross Country races for year grades, and a Fun Run for everyone. Tamariki can run in both, or just one.

Approximate times (these will vary depending on weather and numbers)
1.50pm - Year 5/6 Cross Country Race (3 Laps)
2.00pm - Year 1/2/3/4 Cross Country Race
2.15pm - Whole School Fun Run/Walk

M***i day - it's going to be muddy. Tamariki can wear any suitable running gear - no uniform.

Health, safety and wellbeing

Online GP care now free for ākonga 13 and under

With health services experiencing high demand, online GP care is an option for accessing care and the service is now free for all ākonga up to, and including, the age of 13.

Appointments usually take place through a video app or a phone call and the service can prescribe medicine and send prescriptions to your nearest pharmacy. It also provides another care option for rural communities.

Our Carlton Ngā Tūākana met with Te Ahu Teki from Tuia Connect Consulting this morning. Te Ahu has leadership roles with many local trusts, and iwi/hapū rōpū.
He shared an insight into some of the qualities of effective leadership.
