Sadly, we have to postpone today’s cross country to Monday! The weather is no good and the rain radar doesn’t look promising for the rest of the day.

Our school cross country kicks off tomorrow at 11:30 AM, starting with the Year 1–3 race. All other races will follow directly after.

The school driveway will be used as part of the race course and will be strictly out of bounds during the middle block. Thank you for helping keep our tamariki safe!

Tamariki are encouraged to wear their house colours!!

The countdown is officially on! We are so excited to invite past and present students, staff, whānau, and our whole community to join us in celebrating 100 years of Tawhero School on the 27th of November!

This milestone is going to be such a special time to catch up, share old memories, and celebrate a century of learning and community spirit together.

PJ Day!!

Tomorrow is PJ Day - Friday the 7th of August!

We want to see your best pyjamas, dressing gowns, fluffy slippers, and favourite teddy bears.

There's also a rumour floating around that we'll be having a Best Teddy Bear Competition during Karakia tomorrow morning - so bring your best buddy along!

Don't worry if pyjamas aren't your thing - this is also a m***i day, so tamariki are welcome to come in comfortable m***i clothing instead.

We can't wait to see everyone dressed up and ready for a fun day!

We're getting excited to see all our tamariki back at kura next week. It's going to be a great term!

Reminder - Crazy Hair Day and M***i day tomorrow. Gold coin donation, all proceeds going to kids can!

Next Thursday, the 2nd of July, we're combining Crazy Hair Day with M***i Day. Dig out your wildest hairstyles and m***i clothes for a gold coin donation.

All proceeds will go to the Kidscan Foundation, helping to provide food, clothing and healthcare for Kiwi kids in need. Every gold coin counts and makes a real difference!

We can't wait to see all the creative styles our tamariki come up with!!
