Our identity is deeply connected to where we live. By sharing and discussing types of homes, children realise that not everyone living space looks the same. This helps them appreciate diversity and recognise that each person’s and background are unique.
In this activity, children got to create their own, either something from their real life or something entirely made up from their imagination This creative process encourages them to:
Reflect on what makes their home special.
Express their individuality and cultural background.
Understand and respect differences among their peers.
Develop storytelling and design skills by explaining their home’s features.
This activity not only builds awareness about living environments but also fosters empathy and sense of belonging.
