💚💜 Hari Rā Māmā | Happy Mother’s Day 💜💚

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, foster mums, special friends, and especially our Educators who care for and nurture PAUA children 💜💚

Motherhood is filled with countless unseen moments… including comforting cuddles; tears being wiped; books read; puzzles completed; accomplishments celebrated; prayers prayed and the joy created by simply “being there” moments at a time.

To all those who pour love into our tamariki: thank you. 💜💚

We also pray today for those who may find Mother’s Day difficult for whatever reason. For you, we pray today holds moments of love, gratitude, laughter, and rest.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing women who help children feel safe, valued, and deeply loved 💚💜

🌺 ANZAC Day – Remembering Together 🌺

Today we pause to remember.
On ANZAC Day, we honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have served and continue to serve our country.

At PAUA, this is also a time to support our PAUA children begin to understand values like bravery, kindness, peace, and caring for others. Through simple conversations, stories, and moments of reflection, we nurture hearts that value compassion and connection.

We acknowledge that this day can hold different meanings for different people — for some, it is a day of pride; for others, a day of remembrance and loss. We hold space for it all.

May we continue to grow a future where peace is cherished, kindness is chosen, and we walk together with respect for one another.

Lest we forget. 🌿

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” (John 20 1:2)

All around the world this morning, Ministers and Pastors will declare to their congregations "He is risen!". The congregations will reply as one "He is risen indeed!".

The tomb is empty; Jesus is risen! May you all be blessed by the miracle of Easter, today and always 💚
