Mesmorised and captivated .. tamariki often spend long periods watching the liquid motion of these timers. The smooth, rhythmic and predictable flow of the liquid provides a calming effect, reducing sensory overload and supports them to self-regulate, ground feelings whilst enjoying a quiet moment! ☺️

Last night we enjoyed a lovely BYO takeaway dinner for Puanga at kindergarten. ✨

Thank you to those that could make it, ngā tamariki had a wonderful time with their friends and running around in the dark. They were impressed that the kaiako lit up the tower just for them 😉🤭

Tamariki learnt about the ingredients and the process that make up a vegetable soup this morning. They enjoyed helping to make it and eat it! We talked about Puanga being a good time for harvesting vegetables such as the humble potato and sweet kūmara.

Tamariki have been unleashing their imagination with our new 3D art pin sculpture resources. This activity allows tamariki to turn their imagination into reality by changing any idea or image into an unforgettable work of art! A fun tactile way for them to explore the magic of creating through touch and sight.
