I am well known for my relaxed yet serious approach having coached actors to successfully audition for major roles in New Zealand, Australia, UK and USA, to audition for and be accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Perth, and for my years of work in Community Theatre in UK and New Zealand leaving the Director to direct while I develop the Principal and Ensemble cast.

I studied under the tutelage of acclaimed Actor and Director Malcolm Farrar, have countless stage roles behind me, plus lead roles in five films by Hollywood Director Danny Cannon and James Bond composer David Arnold. I devised and presented the very successful Audition Techniques for Film and TV courses for Stellar Management along with Principal cast development and accent coaching for Hamilton Operatic Society and St Peter’s School Cambridge. My work has proved to be invaluable at the audition and casting stage with a special few moments spent with each auditionee prior to them being called through. Accent Coaching!
You have an audition coming up. It's going to require an accent of some sort to make you more truthful, more believable and far more authentic.

There are some simple tricks that will help with practically any accent you are tasked to learn.
Need an American accent? There is no such beast as a "generic" American accent. Baltimore differs from Boston, Brooklyn is different to Buffalo 🦬

A little pre-info, she is the star of Legally Blonde (among a fistful of others) and her husband was core cast in Eastenders for 4 years.

DONT JUDGE!!! Its my first attempt, broadband was intermittent, so it pauses for 2 or 3 seconds every few mins but let it run. It picks up straight away. Lesson learned for next time. Please enjoy my chat with John Keirnan Sear, a ridiculously knowledgeable and experienced actor and singer.
