SCHOOL CLOSED TODAY

The safety of our children and whānau comes first. Due to current weather conditions and the likelihood of the Wharekawa River flooding across SH 25, we have made the decision to close school today.

Why we are closing:

Heavy Rain: Significant rainfall is still expected, and water from the ranges has not yet reached the river.

High Tide: With high tide at 2:56 PM, river levels are expected to continue rising for some time as the ranges drain.

Travel Safety: We want to ensure everyone is home safe before road access becomes potentially blocked.

Please stay safe and dry.

Take the tamariki to the Whangamatā Real Estate Community Swimming Pool this weekend! They can practice their manus at school and enter online!

PFA CAR WASH FUNDRAISER

JUNIOR ADVENTURE RACE POSTPONED UNTIL THURS 11 SEPT

We have a windy, showery front passing through tomorrow at race time so we have decided to postpone the Junior Adventure Race until Thursday 11 Sept where conditions should be more favourable.

BUS RUNNING LATE THIS AFTERNOON

Kia ora koutou,

Due to an accident just outside of town, we have been advised that the road is open to one lane, so traffic will be very slow, meaning the bus will be late dropping off kids to bus stops.
