After School / School Holiday’s OSCAR Assistant

We are looking for our next Team Member at Bizzy Buddyz OSCAR

About you
• friendly, reliable, and enjoys working with tamariki and as part of a team
• honest and passionate about providing the best possible care and support for our tamariki
• able to follow instructions and routines but can take initiative when required.
• MUST have a clean full drivers licence / driving record and confidently operate a manual vehicle

Key Responsibilities
• drive a Bizzy Buddy’s vehicle to collect tamariki from school
• actively supervise and interact positively with tamariki encouraging good behaviour and participation
• help create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all tamariki
• maintain open and respectful communication with tamariki, staff and parents/caregivers
• follow guidance from the OSCAR Manager to help meet programme goals
• assist with daily setting up, tidying and cleaning activity areas.

Working Hours are: -
School Term: Mon to Fri between 2pm - 5pm (15 hours per week)
School Holidays: Mon to Fri between 7:30am - 5:30pm (25-30 hours per week) – based on roster.

Note: the successful applicant will be required to have a police check.

Please note that for this role applicants will ideally need to be 25 years or older, for vehicle insurance purposes.
