Wow every year I wonder if iCoach can go another round, things have changed so much in schools post covid, there is a lot more learning through technology, and a lot of the understandings of iCoach have come into mainstream now... so I wonder if I can still add any value in this mahi... And just wow, never under estimate the effectiveness of showing up ā-tīnana, ā-wairua, that is putting your body and spirit, your love into a group of young people, the simple things, the basics of human to human engagement are still effective and powerful to shift mindsets, strengthen hearts, and upgrade mana! A privilege to be in Te Kura o Te Whanau ā Apanui with their seniors, and Murupara Area School with the Year 5/6, 7/8's this term. Nga mihi nui ki Eastbay REAP for their continued championing of rural schools, and their belief in the iCoach programme. Nga mihi hoki to Luke Gray for opening the door for iCoach in Te Kaha.
