Its that time of the year again, we are looking for enrollments for the following programs. Advanced Deckhand-Fishing, Skipper Restricted Limits, Skipper Coastal Offshore, Mec6 and Mec5. Course running every few weeks, we will do a fees free check on enrollment to see if you are eligible for a no fees program and have some hardship scholarship funding available. Ocean Dreaming
Thanks to all that sent in dreams and thoughts. Here is the article in Professional Skipper and I think it’s the first time this subject has been in a maritime publication, so we have all done a great job and thanks to Marg for inclusion.

I am now preparing for a 30 minute presentation in Rolduc in the Netherlands in early June titled “Ocean Dreaming”. This is an international conference and excited to present our dreams in this way.
I am looking for a few more experiences, nightmarish, dreams of ocean beauty and would love to hear from partners ashore as I am sure they will dream of their partners in times of abundance and hardship and are the other half of our world and should be included.
I am also keen hearing from anyone that has English as a second language. The dreams may be similar or totally different, would be nice to find this out.

Stepping up to the line and making a difference. Ocean plastic to off the grid houses

The purchase of a new block pressure completed today for our new facility in West Java. This will make 14,000 blocks a day, with 75% plastic used in the blocks. The blocks will be used to build homes for the poor in Indonesia. A MOU is being drawn up between RIO & the Indonesian government. The first project is 100 homes in the city of Bogor east of the capital Jarkarta. The homes with have a Carbon saving of over 500 tons of CO2 per home and completely off the grid. The houses will be completely off the grid with solar panels and carbon capture technology being supplied by our partners Devvio.
