Well done to all our fantastic competitors in the Australian Maths Competition 2022. This time Arryn just pipped Turlough by 1 point as the top senior, a reversal of the result in the Kangourou Sans Frontieres earlier this year.

Australian Maths Competition 2022 - ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

We have a short turnaround to get competitors from years 9 to 12 signed up. All KSF entrants from earlier in the year are automatically entered.

Please let Mr Weaver know (by email or in person) if you wish to give this a go this year.

The competition is online and will run during lunch and period 4 Thursday week 2.

We've been celebrating with the Buller High students who were certificate winners after putting themselves forward for the challenging, international, non-calculator Kangourou Sans Frontières (kangaroo without borders) maths competition. Pictured are the certificate winners after they received these at this week's assembly. This competition is one of the world's biggest maths competitions with around 6 million students entering each year. The Buller High mathematicians all did themselves proud. Big shout outs go to our 6 credit award winners, and particularly to Turlough Bennett for his best in school award 💪
