Kelly Club West Park

Its been a cold but active week here at Kelly Club West Park. We've done some kareoke 🎤 we also got out the puzzles, and enjoyed some nice warm hot chocolates☕️

Recapping on our week, it's been a very creative time here at Kelly Club West Park. We've painted, hot glued, and even learned a new game called - 'Triangle Tag'.

Its been a cold and wet week🌧but at Kelly Club we got silly, we got creative and we busted out some moves.

The children made cupcakes, and man were they good🧁✨️We also asked the children to choose a game they would like to play and not only did they show enthusiasm, but the children showed respect and took leadership to run the activity as well.

A HUGE congratulations to our littlest members onto our Wall of Fame this term.

We asked the kids what they wanted, and we delivered. We have chant battles, sing along competitions, non stop cricket and we are making cupcakes on Wednesday.

Its a new term, and we have a few children to acknowledge that have been noticed showing many values and are going onto our Wall of fame✨️

These 3 students have showed positive attitude, kindness and respect throughout the term. They have been seen doing the right thing, showing teamwork and being responsible. A HUGE round of applause to these kids 🔥🔥🙏

What an amazing week it has been this week with our theme Musical Mayhem✨️We are already half way into the term and its been AWEEESOMEEE!!

We've made edible microphones 🎤 which the children really enjoyed. On Tuesday we had Kelly Club St Brigid's join us and we crafted DIY rain sticks out of card paper, rice and popcorn kennels💯(A friendly reminder to be careful so it doesnt spill everywhere if it breaks✨) ️In the mornings the children have been playing monopoly deal and beating the staff by taking property's and saving money.

Not many photos this week, but we still had a great time. We created a new game called Tetris Jenga🚧 and while we were in Room 12, we had two awesome helpers serve afternoon for us ✨️

Next Week at Kelly Club it's time to put on our learning hats as we prepare and learn new things for Sign Language Week. We have a range of different activities and kai that we have stored and ready to engage in such as making bliss balls, Flag bunting, and a sign language version of the game Captains Coming.

Its been a great start to the week, and the children have been having a great time💯

The children got right into it by getting their hands in the kitchen baking. We also got out our paint brushes and made some pictures for our mums and also enjoyed some outside play at the top field✨️
