Happy Birthday KebbellDaish, twenty two years old today. One of our early projects under the KD moniker was with .stevens.vuw for the incredible group of creatives at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington. Forever grateful for that experience, and the many projects with other brilliant creatives since. My aunt brought the sheep down in a horse truck for the photo shoot with . We backed the truck up to the lift in the carpark, and they were remarkably comfortable up there on the 4th floor.

I haven’t been in touch with Liz for a while, but as you can see we were pretty close in the late 70s. Of course it was nice to contribute my drawing to her art collection, now under the King’s watch. I hope he realises the full scope of his new responsibilities.

Such a pleasure to work with on this beautiful and potent little installation. So many forces on Whenua. And who knew they’re all pink?
Come and see it before Monday!
