I regularly visit Turkey and Iran to study with rug restorers for my professional development and to purchase top quality yarns, wools, cottons and silks.

I have been quiet on Facebook again
But I have been busy repairing carpets and those puppies and dogs keep chewing rugs and fringes and selvedges wear and get thin.

I have just returned from Uzbekistan on a carpet/textile fest! Mind blowing!!! Last photo is me with a repairer of Turkoman carpets in Bokhara. Another hightlight was meeting him.

I have been very quiet with my posts ( too busy repairing oriental rugs!) Last september I was in Switzerland on a Carpet Conference and Tour. LOVED IT. Here is a kelim I saw and its was gorgeous!

I havent posted for quite a while, so here I am
I saw this gorgeous rug in Genoa, Italy nearly a year ago!
In July this year The Richard Pointon Collection warehouse closed. Richard is deeply missed as a dear friend and for his knowledge and passion for handmade rugs.
