Details about the show:

On Saturday 29 August at 2:30PM, the Michael Fowler Centre will transform into a vibrant world of music and animation. Your little ones will get to see their favourite claymation friends on a giant screen while being invited to dance and sing along with a live orchestra performing all the catchy, award-winning songs they know by heart. It’s a perfect, relaxed introduction to live music for children aged 3+ (and their grown-ups!).

Let’s share the experience of live music together – “play it forward” and invite a family to join you in making the Michael Fowler Centre a shared community living room for Wellington kids and families on the afternoon of August 29th! ✨

It looks like we might be expecting some rain this weekend... You should probably pop into the Toy Library and get some toys to keep the kids entertained 😏

How cool is this puzzle! It is 22 years old and still has all it's pieces. I wonder how many times it has been put together 🤔. Fun thing to ponder... 😊

Christmas has come early at the Toy Library! 🎅🎁 We are very grateful for the Grants we receive that enable us to purchase new toys. Here are some of our latest toys and costumes

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped out at the stocktake today. It is truly amazing to see everyone volunteering and taking time out of their day to help out. We are grateful to have such a wonderful community 🫶

We managed to count, clean and stack almost all of the toys and are hoping to re-open as soon as possible! (we will announce dates this week).

The library is looking really good, and we can't wait to open very soon 🎉

This morning some of our committee members went out for a lovely breakfast together ❤️. Volunteering is such a great way to get to know people in your community and make friends.

Our incredible Treasurer is having to leave the committee, so we are looking for someone to take over that role. If you have skills in this area or would like to learn, we would love your help! Or if you are interested in joining the committee and being involved we would also love to hear from you.

Our amazing Toy Library Community we need your help!

We will be running a stock take on the 14th of June from 9am - 3pm to assess the condition of our toys, and we really need your help! There are thousands of toys to go through before we are able to reopen. Can you please take two hours out of your day to help us get back up and running? Let us know and we can add you to the roster.

We are planning to open the toy library a few weeks after once we have a chance to do a stocktake and assessment of the toys. We may need your help with the stocktake and will reach out closer to the time.
