Recently, we hosted several international education agencies. During their visit, we provided a guided tour of our campus and introduced them to key academic and co curricular programmes.
As part of showcasing unique learning pathways, we visited the local Aero Club, where our students have the opportunity to experience introductory flight training. Several international students have previously completed short aviation courses, gaining practical exposure to the fundamentals of flying. This year, one of our Thai student will begin flight lessons to explore his interest in aviation and better understand his future career direction. Experiences like this demonstrate how Rongotai College supports students in exploring specialised interests beyond the classroom.

Our German international students who were not sitting exams took part in a hands-on cooking lesson under the guidance of our Food and Hospitality teacher, Chef Chambers. They prepared and cooked a very tasty schnitzel meal, followed by homemade berry ice cream. 🍽️🍨

Simon, Quinn, and Philipp from Germany recently took part in a cycling excursion around Wellington as part of our non-exam programme. They were accompanied by two of our teachers who guided them from Rongotai College around the Miramar Peninsula.
The group cycled past the famous Weta Workshop, stopped for refreshments at a local café, and visited several iconic Wellington landmarks and other local businesses before returning to school.
It was a good day of fresh air, fitness, and sightseeing, and a great way for our international students to experience the best of Wellington! 🌊🚴♀️✨
Thanks Mr Armstrong and Mr Chambers for the guided tour!

Today, five of our non-exam international students took part in a surfing session at Lyall Bay Beach. This was their second time on the waves after their surf trip to Castlepoint as part the Level 2 Outdoor Education course. It was a great experience for everyone to have fun and enjoy Wellington’s beautiful coastline at Lyall Bay beach, just 100 metres from our school! 🌊🏄♂️☀️

Rongotai College was graciously hosted by our esteemed friends at Shimadagakuen Iizuka High School in Japan, where our Principal Kevin Carter reaffirmed our Sister-school agreement, further solidifying the exceptional bond between our two schools. The evening culminated with an outstanding celebration dinner.
Thank you to Mr. Shimada, the Principals of the High School and the Kindergarten, and our wonderful host and friend of Rongotai College, Ataro Kubota.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting everyone at the 2025 ICEF ANZA event on the Gold Coast! The new connections made, the insights gained, and the opportunities to meet with agents from around the world were invaluable. A big thank you to all the wonderful agents who visited our table. Looking forward to building on these relationships and continuing to grow Rongotai College's foothold in the international education space.

Rongotai College was exteremely pleased to welcome staff from Assumption College, Bangkok to our school. We had a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Assumption College (represented by Brother Dr. Arwut Silaket, Director of Assumption College) and Rongotai College (represented by Mr. Kevin Carter). The Assumption staff were then able to meet with students from Assumption schools, to hear their views on Rongotai College, and then toured our school.
The academic collaboration between Rongotai College and Assumption College has the following objectives:
1. To promote cooperation in teaching and learning for students through AC International Partnership Exchange Program, which provides opportunities for students to study at Rongotai College.
2. To promote cultural exchange for students through the Cultural Exchange Program.
3. To promote the implementation of short-term learning courses for students and teachers in Assumption College.
