Trickle Creek

Big machinery day, with driving diggers and unloading trucks. The gravel was put on top of pipe for the retaining wall drainage. Sanding done on some cupboard repairs, pets of course, winter covers on horses as front is due overnight too. We also prepped the garden and planted some baby lettuces.

Lucy horse got her trot on tonight! Well ridden.

Party, party, party, thats what we did this weekend, wild winds to fly kites on Saturday, bit of sunshine on Sunday for brushing Scoobie Doo. Thanks for choosing us to party with. The cakes were fabulous too.

Another fun afternoon spent grooming, riding and feeding the horses. 🐎

We started our experience with some w**d pulling for the bunnies and guineapigs, this quickly turned into some garden prep and seed planting. We moved on to feed the pets. The boys worked on clearing the water from the post holes using a sump, large stones and concrete, while the girls did puzzles and games.

Reminder that the school holidays are fast approaching, booked in some farm play time out here with us, or some horse riding lessons (limited number of spaces), and birthday party, or even a night or two in our wee cabin. Fun to get away from the hussle and bustle of city life.

Night riding wahooo!

Busy Trickle Creeker's in play and work today. Helping Farmer John with the gravel base in preparation for the drainage materials going in next. Chalk drawing on the blackboard then wiping it off lots, looking after the pets, new hay beds and yummy greens.

A beautiful winters day for a fun and horsey birthday celebration. Happy 6th birthday, and such a super cute cake too.

Wednesday fun experience at Trickle Creek. We painted our clay work, looked after all the pets and helped John with some farm jobs too.
