Well done to Christian, who recently joined us from Germany. It’s always so great to see our new ākonga getting involved across the kura.

WISA - Wellington International Students Association
Yesterday, our international students got to hang out with other international students in Wellington and attend a special association event, welcoming them to our city.
They experienced a Kapa Haka welcome, shared kai with Mayor of Wellington, Tory Whanau, and other students. They also got to watch cultural performances by the Wellington Girls College Asian Group among others.
We love seeing our students get out and about with other students. It provides them with a support network and introduces them to a little bit more of our wonderful city! Ka pai!

Monday morning we welcomed our new International Students to our Kura. The year 9’s did such incredible mahi with the mihi whakatau, and after, we all enjoyed some kai and got to know one another over a warm cuppa Milo. . . We had a FULL on day with trying to get all our admin sorted, getting to know our manaakitanga buddies, and learning and sharing all things Onslow College.
