Maths Well Challenge was held last week at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington - Kelburn Campus

Our Year 9 Team took 2nd place for the Plate and each of them have won for themselves the latest Graphing calculator (worth $250) and a slab of chocolate!

Congratulations to Elsa Dean, Zara Kong, Zara Connolly, Willow Soldini-Esdale, Amelia Ito and Tarika Sri Rajesh.

We also had teams competition in the Year 10, 11 and 12 competition - It was a fun day of Math Quiz and Quest for all of the teams!

Molly - Year 13 was put forward for the Sir Roy McKenzie Outward Bound Scholarship offered by Wellington South Rotary Club earlier this year and was successful in being selected.

In July Molly completed her 21 day course and last week, along with Arlo, her fellow Wellington region recipient, delivered a super talk to the members of the Wellington South Rotary Club about the experience and what she got from it.
