Matariki is known by many names across Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa šāØWhile the kupu may differ from place to place, the themes of remembrance, connection, reflection, and looking ahead are shared across many of our Pacific cultures š
As we get ready to celebrate Matariki, we celebrate not only the rising of the stars, but the deep connections that exist across our moana, our languages, and our peoples šāØ
š£ This year, to celebrate te reo MÄori and the shared histories of Aotearoa and the wider Pacific, The Warehouse and Te Taura Whiri i te Reo MÄori (the MÄori Language Commission) have produced a limited-edition kÄkahu (clothing) range for Matariki. Coming soon!
