The Wellington region is depicted by “Nga Hau e Wha” – the four winds wrapped around the spinning volleyball. Each element of the design has special meaning,

We’re setting up a dinner for teams on the Saturday night from 6:30pm onwards. It’s a good chance for players and spectators to have a catchup and a laugh/discussion of the days events.

Just a couple of housekeeping rules. The TET MultiSports Centre is a catered facility with a canteen/restaurant/bar operating as soon as we open the doors at 7:30am; therefore, please don’t bring in outside catered food (e.g. subway).
The owners of the business do understand that some “sports food” is acceptable, but please keep it to a minimum.

If you have any questions, then please don’t hesitate to ask. Just give me a call on 022 125 7302.

Cheers,

WRVA wishes to convey thanks and appreciation, as well as best wishes to Robert Higgins – AKA HIGGINS.
Higgins has put his coaching stamp over several College teams and more recently, with CLUB KAOS.
He’s also helped the wider college community with his dedication and efforts within the officiating space.
That time and effort is appreciated and his departure will leave a big gap amongst the Wellington Volleyball community.
Wellington’s loss is Brisbanes gain.

Another year of IPC has come to an end.
It has been a long, hard-working couple of months for our amazing Operations Team, Volunteer Coaches, and Managers, as well as the dedicated players and parents—not to mention the long hours and effort put in by our teams.

Thank you to our local colleges and local councils for allowing our teams to train in your gyms during an already packed season of other competing sports. Thank you for finding ways to work with us amidst the craziness!

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Pelorus Trust, iAthletic, & Tony T Photography (reels)

Thank you to everyone that has been with us from Day 1 to the end of IPC.

Volleyball is life and the game we love! Let's keep the ball flying!

Please find below the final placings for the 12 teams that represented WRVA over the long weekend at the IPC.
We saw an outstanding performance from both our Open Men’s and Women’s teams, each finishing in 4th place.
Among our age-group teams, results were somewhat mixed, with the ball unfortunately not favouring some of our sides. Nevertheless, every team gave their all throughout the tournament
