One of the biggest mistakes I see beauty business owners make?

Paying themselves last.

The rent gets paid, stock gets paid, subscriptions get paid, and then we hope there's enough left over for us.

Your wage shouldn't be whatever happens to be left in the account. You deserve to be paid properly.

We didn't start a business just to own a business! The goal is to own a business that supports the person running it: you 🫶

If you’ve never actually calculated your pricing, there’s a very good chance you’re undercharging.

Because if your pricing only covers your expenses and your wage, your business has no breathing room for:

• Slower seasons
• Unexpected expenses
• Growth
• Reinvestment
• Future stability

Profit isn’t “extra.”

Profit is what makes a business sustainable 📈

Your break-even point is the minimum your business needs to make to cover its costs.

It gives you a baseline to work with so you can start setting some revenue goals 💵🚀

You can be making good money and still feel broke. Not because your business isn't working, but because cash flow and profit are two very different things.

When you've got a handle on your cash flow, you stop wondering where your money went, and you start telling it where to go! 💸

Gross profit shows what you're making.
Net profit shows what you're keeping.
