Pop in and enjoy our bake sale fundraiser we’ll have delicious home baking, lemonade, and ice blocks🍋🍪🍭

We will be accepting cash and bank transfer❤️

Take a moment to relax in our child-friendly, fully fenced, and calm space, perfect for tamariki to unwind while you soak up the festival atmosphere.

💛 there will also be a koha jar on site to support our Playcentre.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Playcentre Halloween fundraiser last night! The tamariki had an amazing time dancing, playing, and showing off their fantastic costumes. 🧙‍♀️🕸️🧛‍♂️

They’ve spent the past few weeks creating all the spooky decorations and it really showed! The space looked incredible thanks to their hard work and creativity.

There was a great turnout! And wide range of folks across the community turned up in their spookiest attire which was so cool to see.

We loved seeing all the fun, laughter, and a few spooky moves on the dance floor. What a wonderful way to celebrate together!

Each session adds something new, and today we had fun pretending to lasso the sun! Tamariki-led creativity at its best 💕☀️

Today we pretended to pull the sun (with pipe cleaners as our rope 💕) and added some new rays ☀️

✨ Happy Te Wiki o te Reo Māori! ✨

At our Playcentre we’re immersing ourselves in Māori Language Week by creating a te reo word board - adding new words we are learning, hearing, and using during session. 🗣️🌿

We’re also working on a collaborative mural across different sessions, inspired by the pūrākau of how Māui slowed the sun. 🌞
Our Rāhina tamariki have kicked it off beautifully by painting the main body of the sun, and we can’t wait to see how the mural grows as the week unfolds! 🎨✨

The Brooklyn Playcentre tamariki have been making the most of the wild spring weather indoors with mask-making fun 🎭 From stamping and cutting to gluing and colouring, the creativity (and the mess!) have been flowing! 🌈✂️🖍️

☀️ The sunshine has been out, and so have the wheels! 🚲🛒 Our tamariki have been making the most of the warm weather 🤩 riding bikes, pulling trolleys, and zooming around with lots of wheel action. Such a fun way to build confidence, teamwork, and balance while enjoying the outdoors! 🌿💛
