So how do you know when it's time to replace your tyres?
🏍 The tread depth is less than 2mm.
🏍 There’s any sign of cracking, bulging or other damage.
🏍 The tyres are more than five years old.
🏍 They have had a temporary puncture fix to get you home.

Every year, starting in Spring, there's a spike in motorcycle crashes, injuries, ACC claims, and fatalities – they all increase. Part of this spike can be explained by the fact that the volume of bikes on the road suddenly doubles, so for drivers it must seem like we’re coming from every direction.
What can you do to prepare?
Here are three important steps we recommend for everyone:
✅ Check your bike over and make sure it is road ready, especially if it has been in storage over the winter months.
✅ Basic protective gear is an absolute must for every ride. The keys are abrasion resistance and impact resistance, then comfort and weather protection.
✅ Get yourself enrolled onto a Ride Forever course - sharpen those skills!
