Too many people reach for the Allen key the second their strings feel too high. Don’t. The truss rod isn’t a height adjustment, it’s all about relief in the neck. Crank it up for less bow, crank it down for more.

Your actual string height comes from two places: the nut and the saddle. That’s where the real adjustment happens.
