Term Two 2024 – Science Club with Becky the Brainiac 🔬🧠👩‍🔬

🚀Bring your curiosity with you after school as you investigate, explore, get messy and get ready for crazy experiments with local science extraordinaire Becky Bateman. Over our 8-week programme, children will be exploring chemical reactions, investigating Newtonians fluids, undertaking ice challenges, discovering the physical properties of bubbles and crystals... while trying not to blow too many things up! 🚀🧬🧫⚗️

⭐Science club will run from Tuesday 7th may for 8 weeks. All ages are welcome!

Starting Tuesday 7th May (first session)

Ending Tuesday 25th June (last session)

3.30pm – 4.30pm at The Pod

Cost – 8 weeks $200 (includes after school pick up from Greytown School at 3pm) 🔭🔬🩻🧪

We are excited to be relaunching our after school clubs at The Pod in 2024! Each term we will have a new and exciting after school club running at The Pod, designed to extend your child’s skills, build upon their interests, and provide them with a fun, stimulating and social experience with their peers after school 🎒🎨♟🎲🎼🪡🧘‍♀️

Term One 2024 – Ceramics Club with Felicity Donaldson from Wundaire!

Ceramics is a unique, therapeutic and creative art medium. Over our 7-week programme, children will learn a range of ceramic techniques as they work with clay in a variety of ways through the creation of a number of projects including; a slab-built breakfast set (including bowl and plate), a slab built lidded vessel, pinch pot, a coil sculpture, plus a special easter project! Children will be experimenting with adding colour using underglaze to complete their magical creations. All pieces will be finished in clear, food/dishwasher safe glaze 🤩

⭐️Starting Monday 19th February 2024 (first session)
⭐️Ending Monday 8th April 2024 (last session)

🚀🚀 Wow what a week we had for the second week of The Pod Winter Holiday Programme! Wooden Toy making, Art classes, baking classes, face painting, shared lunch, games and more! And most importantly…we had FUN!

Wednesday at The Pod was MasterChef Cooking Class with Chef Phil! We had a fun filled day in the kitchen and learning the art of truffle making 😋🚀👨‍🍳
