As we commemorate Anzac Day this weekend, we think of all those affected by war, past and present.
We have crosses at the front of the school to honour those that gave their lives in WWI and WW II who lived in our Cashmere Streets. Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou- We will remember them
We hope you are able to cherish time with your whānau and we look forward to seeing you at school on Tuesday.

This morning we had our special opening of our new garden 'He Māra Mauri Tau'.
Mauri is the life force within, that we all have, interconnected with our mana and wairua. Tau is to be settled. In other words, mauri tau keeps our hauora in a state of balance. The Māra/garden provides a place for this to happen.
Ngā mihi to Matua Gary for his formal blessing of the garden with an ancient karakia.
The opening was followed by a walk through from our tamariki.
