Our Story
Miramar Christian School has been providing Christian education to the Eastern Suburbs and greater Wellington region since 1979.
Our families come from all over Wellington and attend a variety of Churches. We now cater for students from Year 1-8.
Character, Excellence & Community are our values. We seek, to build Godly character in our students, to encourage them to give of their best (excellence) and to contribute to the school and wider community.
Our school is a state-integrated and is not private. We teach all the subjects in the New Zealand Curriculum and we have a special ‘Christian character’. Our ‘Christian character’ allows us to promote living Christian values and teach from a biblical worldview. Our students are taught by qualified professional teachers who have a living faith.
Our size enables all staff to know and care about all of our students. They also understand every child is unique are committed to supporting and challenging them to grow.
