Good morning Wednesday! What a great start to our day!

This month we celebrated our mum’s by treating them to a delicious afternoon tea, a flower photo session and by gifting them a decorated pot plant. A huge thank you to our mums for being so wonderful.

Today we celebrated pink shirt day with our amazing teaching team and mokopuna!

Pink Shirt Day for us is about working together to celebrate diversity and promote kindness and inclusiveness. At Te Whare Kōhungahunga o Pōneke Capital City Preschool we promote Manaakitanga as a selfless act of kindness, respect, generosity, hospitality, and care that we show to other people. We lift and support all those around us in our mana enhancing curriculum. He aroha whakatō, he aroha p**a mai. If kindness is sown then kindness you shall receive.

Our mokopuna loving music class with Jo this Term 2 🎶 Watching their confidence grow, their little minds light up, and their joy shine through every beat is something special.

Music supports children’s development in so many ways! Building language skills, improving memory, strengthening coordination, and encouraging creativity and self-expression. It also helps ngā tamariki develop social skills and emotional confidence, all while having fun 💛

So grateful for these beautiful learning moments together!
