It is with great sadness that I closed my doors for the last time today after a wonderfully busy and chaotic final few weeks of my childcare business.

Thank you to each and every one of you lovely parents who have entrusted me with the care of your amazing children, for your ongoing support and faith in me. We have had so much fun and such a lot of adventures! It has been an absolute honour to learn with these brilliant kids and I have loved seeing them grow 🌻

Such a great day making new friends today on the first day of my school holiday programme - ideal for kids who don't enjoy big groups or who just need a change of pace from larger holiday programmes.

We took a bush walk, rode two buses, built a dam, played in the stream, met a friendly eel, played hide and seek, read books, drew some pictures, did some carpentry and played with our kittens.

Still some limited space available on 12th and 21st January - get in touch quickly if you're interested! 8.30 - 3.30, $50/day for a school-enrolled child ..

Thinking of offering some options for holiday care for 5-8yos during the long summer break, for those kiddies who may be a bit overwhelmed by the larger holiday progammes ... $50/day for 8.30-3.30, available a couple of days each week. Excursion based programme with a focus on free play in nature - bush trips, park trips and beach trips.

My little boy turns 5 this week (5!!!) and to celebrate today we had the most amazing bush birthday party with games, den building and stream splashing!

It makes my heart sing that this is a normal part of the daily routine of the children in my care - this time spent with friends in nature is so incredibly valuable for all of us and I see the benefits that it brings - physically, emotionally and socially.

I am so lucky, and very proud of what I do ❤️

The cherry tree has turned pink signalling that summer is on its way.... which means I'm already thinking about the adventures that we'll have in term 4!

I have a 2 day space available from the start of term 4 on a Tuesday/Thursday (increasing to Tue/Wed/Thur in February 2021) for a confident walker aged 18m+. Happy to consider full or half days. Looking for care for two siblings? I have another space opening up next year too so get in touch soon to get it locked in!

Am currently LOVING studying Play in the Outdoor Classroom through Little Kiwis Nature Play, upskilling in an area that I feel passionate about. All of the children in my care will benefit from my increased knowledge and confidence in the outdoor space - there are so many rich learning opportunities in our wonderful natural environment.
