Scabies is currently an increasing public health concern across the Greater Wellington region. Over the past month, there has been a noticeable rise in enquiries from college nurses, primary care providers, and paediatric services regarding scabies cases. We are also seeing a growing number of associated secondary skin infections and avoidable hospital admissions linked to delayed diagnosis and treatment.

North City Cricket Club Womens and Girls Cricket Open Day - Sunday 9 August
Come along to North City Cricket Club's Womens and Girls Cricket Open Day to learn more about getting involved in cricket. We have
opportunities for girls aged 5+ - girls only teams, mixed teams,
hardball or softball cricket.
Cricket is a fantastic sport to play - it's fun, engaging and it helps
build resilience, teamwork and patience. Now is an awesome time for girls and women to get into cricket - the pathways into senior and representative cricket are stronger than they've ever been - and North City Cricket Club has produced more than it's fair share of White Ferns (New Zealand's women's cricket team) and Wellington Blaze (Wellington representative women's cricket team) players.
Come along on the day to learn more about the different options to get involved, participate in some fun activities, learn some important cricket skills and meet some of our champion Wellington Blaze players.
There will be prizes to give away on the day to participants, a free
sausage sizzle and awesome prize packs up for grabs!
Sunday 9 August, 1.30pm - 4pm (come by for as long as you want in that time) Linden Park, Gee Street, Tawa.
Reserve date if needed due to weather - Sunday 16 August.
