Recently we celebrated 100 BCITO graduates from across the Wellington region, we were joined by more than 300 whānau, friends, employers and colleagues to mark the moment their qualification became official.
A standout moment was father and son John and Jesse graduating together showcasing knowledge getting passed from one generation to the next.
A massive congratulations to everybody that got their qualification.

Meet Oli, our Apprentice Leader for Brick and Block 👋
Two and a half years into his apprenticeship with S.A. Thelning in Christchurch, he’s already working across residential, commercial and architectural projects.
He loves a hard days work, being hands on, and is always up for a challenge - so he picked the right trade! 🧱

Meet Rebekah, our Apprentice Leader for joinery 👋
Starting her career in painting and decorating, she then moved to drafting and has since settled with TW Joinery in Hawkes Bay where she’s continued to build her skills in joinery.

Meet Jack Hart!
At 17, he was a school student trying out the trades through BCITO's Gateway programme. At 23, he's running his own building business, BlackRock Co, and training the next generation of apprentices.
