A reminder to families that MCK will be closed tomorrow, Friday 24 April for a Teacher Only Day and on Monday 27 April for ANZAC Day. We will see you back at Kindergarten on Tuesday 28 April. Have a great long weekend!

Today is Earth Day; the theme of which this year is 'Our Power, Our Planet'. There is currently a 'Climate Festival' happening in Wellington, details of which are on the Wellington City Council website. Remember the power you have when it comes to our General Election on 7th November and think about the parties who have long-term, sustainable policies and plans to protect our future.

LUCKY RED DAY at kindergarten tomorrow!

REMINDER! The Annual MCK Wheel-A-Thon fundraiser will be taking place on Tuesday 24 February at the Miramar Central School pump track. Bring cash for the Bake Sale or pay by bank payment over your phone. We will also have Domino's Pizza for sale by the slice. Dinner sorted! 🍕

HELP! We want to make your child's start or return to kindergarten is as positive and comfortable as possible, so please share with us some of their favourite things and areas of interest, so we can reflect these in our learning experiences and environment. Fun resumes on Monday; can't wait to welcome you all back 🤗

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY of kindergarten for the year and also when we wish another of our beautiful friends 'mā te wā'. In celebration of this special occasion, we are having a 🌈RAINBOW DAY! 🌈 Come dressed in all your favourite colours and let's have some happy fun together.

As of 2026, MCK will become a full-year kindergarten, i.e. we will stay open during School Holidays. Sessions start 8.30am and end 2.30pm, Monday-Friday. We encourage all our children to attend their full session.
