Here at Curious Minds we take tamariki as young as 6 months! We understand how hard it is to leave your bubba when you head back to work, but rest assured they have fun and are well cared for!

Thank you to our families, teachers and contractors for all your patience while we repair after the floods. We have carpet!

Using loose parts in the classroom sparks tamariki imaginations, encourages maths through sorting and counting, and builds fine motor skills!

Here at Curious Minds Island Bay we love to get messy! Messy play is a great way for tamariki to explore their senses, refine their fine motor skills and have fun!

Throw back to Matariki when our tamariki made star cookies, our whānau set wishes for the new year, and also did some planting!

Nothing beats a good batch of play dough! Messy play is a hands on sensory experience that develops their physical coordination and builds cognitive skills. Plus, it’s fun!

Kaiako Lou taught our Pūkeko tamariki how to make yummy banana smoothies! Learning about nutrition and learning new skills in one activity!

Our tamariki spend a lot of time flipping through their profile books. They share their journey with their e hoa and recreate their previous experiences.

With all the madness that has been happening in Island Bay, recently we wanted to throw back this beautiful day! Our Pūkeko tamariki went out in the community taking in all the magic Taputeranga has to offer.

Happy 128th Philippines Independence Day! Even our youngest tamariki are learning all about the Filipino culture!
