With all the madness that has been happening in Island Bay, recently we wanted to throw back this beautiful day! Our Pūkeko tamariki went out in the community taking in all the magic Taputeranga has to offer.

We love to get out in the community as much as possible. A tamariki fave is the supermarket! Here kaiako Abby took a group to get lemons to make lemonade!

Pukapuka are a very popular resource in our centre. Tamariki of all ages enjoy sitting with a good story!

I think we might have a future gymnast Olympian on our hands! Physical and risky play is a huge part of our curriculum. Our tamariki love to move and try new skills.

Painting is a great way to get the creative juices flowing! The tamariki are learning about colour, textures and using their imaginations!
